History

In 1892, CT – then CT Corporation – opened its doors for business. Its original charter was “to carry on a general agency business, especially the acting as agent of and trustee for corporations.” CT has grown from 44 employees in a single office in New Jersey to more than 800 employees in 46 offices nationwide.

Today, CT is the tenured leader in service and technology solutions for legal professionals in their workflows of corporate compliance and governance transactions, entity management and due diligence.
