Information Regarding Service Outage
On Monday, May 6, Wolters Kluwer IT teams noticed network and service interruptions affecting certain Wolters Kluwer platforms and applications. Wolters Kluwer identified malware as the root cause and has begun the remediation process. As a precautionary measure, Wolters Kluwer proactively took offline most applications, including CT’s phone, email, and web solutions. We have seen no evidence that customer data was taken or that there was a breach of confidentiality of that data.
On May 7, we restored a number of applications and moved to our backup processes to ensure continuing service to our customers. We are working diligently to bring up the remaining applications and to ensure that customers do not experience delays.
