California Assembly Bill 375

California — Assembly Bill 375, effective January 1, 2020, enacts the California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018, which, among other things, requires businesses that collect or sell the personal information of California residents to disclose, upon request, the information collected or sold and how it will be used and to whom it was sold or disclosed, and, upon request, to delete the personal information that was collected.
