North Dakota – Effect of Reinstatement

North DakotaGreat Plains Royalty Corp. v. Earl Schwartz Co., 2019 ND 124, decided May 16, 2019. The North Dakota Supreme Court held the trial court erred in holding that a corporation that been involuntarily dissolved for failing to file an annual report and pay fees, but that since had been reinstated, lost its ability to claim title to property it owned. Upon reinstatement it regained title to properties it owned before it was dissolved.
