Missouri — Mitchell v. J&M Securities, LLC, No. ED107431, decided October 22, 2019. The Missouri Court of Appeals held that an LLC and its sole member were not practicing law by filling in the blanks on applications for garnishments and accompanying interrogatories. There was not legal skill or knowledge involved in filling in the blanks with basic information that triggered the issuance of a writ of garnishment.
