Georgia — Ward v. Marriott International, Inc., A19A0826, decided October 24, 2019. The Georgia Court of Appeals held that a foreign corporation registered and authorized to do business in Georgia could not avoid default by filing a motion to dismiss for lack of personal jurisdiction after its time to open default as a matter or right expired.
