An innovator in the field of legal technology solutions, John Weber has been a member of the Wolters Kluwer Corporate Legal Services (CLS) executive management team since 2001. As the Executive Vice President and General Manager of the CT Corporation-branded business, John leads the business dedicated to delivering compliance and governance solutions to Fortune 500 companies and large law firms. Increasing regulatory demands have intensified the compliance and governance requirements of large corporate customers. Weber’s experience running another CLS business, TyMetrix, demonstrates his ability to create new products and services that have the power to transform an industry and fuel business growth. His progressive thinking and customer-focused outlook will drive a new way of thinking at the 120-year old market-leading business. In his prior role as general manager of TyMetrix, Weber’s market insight, strategic thinking, and strong team-building skills grew TyMetrix from start-up to industry leader in legal matter and spend management solutions and legal performance analytics. Weber envisioned the business’s flagship product, TyMetrix 360, and paved the way for TyMetrix Legal Analytics, a complementary business to the core software offerings that provide predictive and analytics models, benchmarking, and insights to all corporate and law firm professionals. Prior to joining TyMetrix, Weber was a trial lawyer at the Guardian Life Insurance Company of America, where he tried cases and led a consortium of insurers that recovered over $100 million from fraudulent medical providers. While at The Guardian, he founded and chaired the Legal Technology Working Group, an industry group dedicated to legal technology. Before joining Guardian, Weber was associated with the New York City law firm of Thacher, Proffitt & Wood. Weber received his bachelor of arts in English from the University of Notre Dane and a J.D. from the Boston School of Law as a Joseph G. Tauro Scholar. |
